BABY OAKLEY IS HERE!!!

So today my little sister Mikelle had her baby girl. The name they chose is Oakley. Me my mom and Nikki were all able to be in the room when she was born. Me and Nikki were front and center while my mom stood to the side. Can I just say what an amazing thing birth is. It was such a spiritual experience and neat to share with my mom and sisters. Mikelle almost lost her life giving birth to her son Austin because of e-clampsia, but this time she had no complications. I am so proud of her she did so good!!! Thanks sis for letting me be a part of your little miracle!! This may be the closets I ever come to experiencing birth so I am grateful my sisters have shared their moments of child birth with me. I love them both so much. Don't worry Bro I love you too its just a girl thing!

Some of you may wonder, isn't it hard for me to watch that knowing it may never be me? The answerer is Yes it is kind of hard and sometimes I wish I could know what it is like to give birth. But My sadness has nothing to do with how happy I am for my sister. I have two little miracles tucked into bed peacefully sleeping. And after today I realized it is not so bad having them placed in your arms two days later all clean and beautiful feeling like a million bucks. Yes I wish I could have seen our boys be born but I get to watch them grow! I am so happy for my sister and her husband Cory. Congrats on your new baby girl I might have to steal her every now and then! Maybe even just a smell here and there. Love you guys, she is beautiful!

How great is that! I've always wondered what it would be like to see a child being born (besides the edited version of The Miracle of Birth). How incredible that your Sister let you have a front row seat. Congratulations to your entire family for the addition of another beautiful girl!

I was able to watch my sister-in-law give birth to her son, and I too was so grateful knowing that would be my only chance to see a baby being born. Congrats to your sister and her husband and I am glad that she was able to have a complication free birth this go around.

Hey Kim! I have been missing you and Jon a lot lately. Not that I don't always, but Josh and I have been talking about all of the fun things we used to do. Hope I can still be invited to the blog...our address is josh-emily@live.com. Will you pass it along to Brooke as well? I can't get into hers anymore. I would love to see what they are up to. We will get together soon!

Whew! I'm so glad everything went ok for her...it's so good to know that I might have the same kind of pregnancy (no I'm not pregnant...just good to know). I loved the picture where Mikelle was crying...I'm sure the relief she felt was just overwhelming. I can only imagine what a neat experience it was for you girls to all be in there for the birth. Please pass on the congrats to Mikelle.

Hey kim for some reason you and Jon keep popping in my head so I thought why not let you know someone is thinking of you.(although I can tell quite a few people are!) but another one can't hurt right! We really think a lot of you guys and enjoy our friendship. I agree that this blogging thing is such a blessing??? Who would have ever thought? But a lot of times I don't think we share hard times because we know everyone has things to deal with in life and at least for me sometimes I think why should I bug everyone else? But I truely think that heavenly father gave us eachother to lean on and what a neat thing that we are all on this kind of crazy sometimes hard journey. But that we are all on it together and I know that sometimes when we open ourselves up even if its hard that allows them to help carry that load even if just for a little while and then when we get it back maybe it doesn't feel quite so heavy. I hope that makes a little bit of sense sorry maybe now I'm just rambling but, Bret and I are thinking of you and your cute family so we hope you feel our good thoughts coming your way! Congrats to your sister and I agree you need to go smell that baby! It is one of my favorite smells I think its because they still smell like heaven!!

Hi Kim ~ I am so new to this blog thing and feeling a bit "stupid" while trying to figure it out. First of all this is Bree Bell - now Gowers from the days of Woods Cross High :) Your family is gorgeous and your's boys are beautiful. As sad as it is to hear your struggles with getting pregant it is also sometimes good to hear that I am not the only one. Does that make sense with out sounding so awful! I wish you the best and would love to keep in touch! Bree
